Our room reminded me of any other hotel and a bit smelly.
Overall I loved this hotel. My problem really was the room. It has been suggested to me (by someone who has visited here before), that there really are quality rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The parking was 12 dollars a day.
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, it was located in the downtown area of Silver Springs, and it was about 20 minutes from downtown DC.

I don't like that there isn't an attendant in the self-parking garage.
I really like this hotel and am excited every time I get it. One down side, the door to my hotel room didn't lock when I closed it. I had to slam it close to assure the lock caught. I asked the attendant to have engineer check and to let the cleaning person know to check to make sure it locks before leaving. I would surely recommend the hotel to my friends and colleagues due to hospitable staff of the hotel and its strategic spot.
The room had a bad smell when I arrived but reported to the receptionist and was given another room - damage control get corrected immediately.
It is at strategic point for Silver spring at 3 star level. The good thing about the hotel is as soon as complaint is received it get corrected immediately.
